The Salsa Kids School Program is a series of lessons developed to educate youth about the exciting Latin culture by featuring Latin dance. Dance for children and teens offer a full range of sequential, guided instruction focusing on the joy, and enjoyment, of the art of dance with an emphasis on nurturing the whole dance. Our professional faculty works with the students to develop confidence and creativity as well as technical and performance skills.

Latin Connection Dance Company (LCDC) has been teaching its students Latin American Salsa dancing from all parts of Sydney since 1999. Olivier Navarro, of LCDC and Junior LCDC, is of French/Spanish heritage and enjoys sharing his passion for dancing and Latino music with his students. The new millennium style of Salsa is a fusion of a variety of Salsa techniques like Cuban, Afro, New York and L.A. with a funky upbeat street/hip hop mix.

Junior LCDC offers young children the opportunity to learn a new style of dance that is the entertainment of the future.

Salsa is a fantastic way to get fit, build confidence and co-ordination, and enjoy the fiesta spirit of Latino-style music. It is also a great social activity. Don't be concerned that your child has no previous dance experience, we start at the basics and take our time to work on technique and at a pace that suits everyone.

Term Fees
The fees are $120 for the 10 weeks. A sibling discount of 10% is available to families. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Latin Dance Lessons for Kids – Children will learn to dance many types of music including salsa, merengue, regetón, pop, rock, cumbia, and more. These classes are divided accroding to age and skill level and run throughout the calendar year. Call for current details!

Latin Dance & Hip Hop Performance Class (7-17 yrs old) – This program gives the serious dancer a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be on stage. Learn intense routines and high-energy salsa, cha-cha-cha, merengue, tango Latin pop, rock and roll, hip hop, and more! After successful completion of this class you may have the opportunity to perform with the Crossing Border's Kids at one of our upcoming events!

Student Safety
We provide a safe, clean, friendly environment at the Senior Centre and there is plenty of off street parking adjacent to the building. Your childs safety and well being is important to us, so to ensure safe drop off and pick up times for your children please make sure a relative or friend is waiting on time to collect your child. We appreciate your care in this matter.
