Although we do other forms of Latin dance as well; Salsa is our passion and ensuring that our students truly have the tools and training to excel is our firm mission. We have created a program of Salsa which takes into account every level of ability and every need that a dancer may encounter along the way from beginners to professional.

Latin Connection prides itself in providing students with a range of different Latin dance styles to accommodate absolute beginners to professionals, and we cater for all ages from kids to adults.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Salsa is an easy to learn Latin dance that' is growing rapidly in popularity worldwide. Classes are structured to enable you to learn quickly and thoroughly, so that you may progress through as many levels as you need to achieve your desired proficiency. Latin Connection Dance Company is well known for attention to technique, however the emphasis in classes is on having a great time and welcoming new people into a form of dance that is our passion and will soon become yours!

HOW LONG ARE CLASSES
Classes run for one hour and we recommend that you complete the full 8-week course before moving on to the next level. With Salsa, it is best to start at the beginning of a course (even if you have danced other styles) in order to gain a full understanding of the fundamentals.

Salsa - Salsa refers to a style of music and dance which has its origins in the Caribbean and South America, but which has developed all over the world, into variations that have created a number of recognized styles. It is the most popular of a variety of Latin dances and has developed into an international phenomenon which is taking the world by storm!

Rueda - This is a Group Dance originating in Cuba. It is danced to lively, up-beat salsa music. The couples dance in a circle executing moves called out by a leader. There is a constant changing of partners, which makes it a vivid and joyful spectacle

Cha Cha - (no experience necessary)
Learn from scratch and build on your knowledge of the ever so popular 'Cha Cha' with new moves and technique each week.

Latin Connection has a variety of different of Latin Dance classes, to suit all ages, and styles. Weather you are looking for a work out, fitness class, learn a fun dance while meeting lots of people, or you want to take dancing career seriously, we have a class that will suit you!
